Ramadan Kareem

I hope this message finds you all in good health and faith. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my Muslim readers a blessed Ramadan.

It’s been a beautiful time for me. I am in South Africa with my family and friends. The days are short but yet so fulfilling. I have the wonderful opportunity to pray taraweeh salaah behind my baby brother who is currently memorizing the Holy Quran. I am so proud of his achievement and I ask that we all pray that he continues in this beautiful path of righteousness.

Let’s all be reminded that this Ramadan is a gift and every moment that Allah has blessed us with is a chance to better ourselves in order to please Him.

Research has shown that it takes 30 days to remove bad habits, let this Ramadan be our turning point for good and let it be the renewing of our Imaan.

The first ten days of Ramadan are the days of mercy.  Fasting itself is an act of mercy. Through fasting we are able to feel more merciful towards the less fortunate.

Let us seek the mercy of Allah during these days and not let it slip away and all of this can be achieved through a Ramadan that is filled with remembrance of God, reflection on abstinence and spending the night in prayer.

May Allah accept all our efforts and may this Ramadan be our best one yet.

All my love,
